Just A Game
This is a very great chance for me to let the Denver Broncos fans know that this is just a game and these are humans playing the game. Certain individuals are better than others, but its time for those crazed people to take Tim Tebow off of this cross that they have built, this pedestal that they have put him on. He is an athlete and he is an adequate athlete. He is a good person. Hes a religious, strong individual but he is not a quarterback.
Water Clarity
The caller who said Berthoud doesnt have clean drinking water needs to get a clue. Berthoud closed its water plant last December, December of 2010 and switched to Little Thompson Water while the towns plant gets upgraded and we build a pipeline around the town reservoir. So the town of Berthoud has been drinking Little Thompson water for a year and is fixing the problem.
School Budget Issues
I have watched the interesting exchanges in the RH Line concerning class sizes and other things. I would like to remind people that the figures can be made to say whatever a person wants them to say. There is an old adage which says, Figures dont lie but liars can figure.
I thought that the 2005 bond administration projects were only supposed to last six years. Why does the school district still have a staff of five managing these bonds?
Campground Conundrum
My comment was about the Drake Campground. The campground adjacent to the Shaffers is still open for business in my understanding. Why is that? Not in a flood plain. And my second thing would be, isnt it ironic, once the Shaffers get shut down, Larimer County raises the rates on other campgrounds in the area. Isnt that just ironic?
Skinning Follow-up
Was I relieved to read that the domestic pets were not skinned. The very idea made me sick to my stomach to think that it happened. We are a dog-, pet-friendly community. I would not hunt coyote myself but it is still legal in Colorado. Thank God the animals were already dead from gunshots. Pet owners will rest easier after they read what has happened here.
